MS Storms Back to Tie Montour
MS earns their first point of the season in dramatic fashion.
Mars Middle School tied Montour Monday night 7-7.
Mars lead 5-3 after two periods. However, Montour countered with 4 unanaswered goals in the third to take a 7-5 lead. Mars retaliated by scoring 2 goals to even the score and that is how this wild game ended.
Declan Abbey earned a hat trick with 3 goals and also contributed 2 assists. Christian Bowser scored 2 goals, Tyler Vargo scored 1 goal and added 2 assists, Ethan Lipchin scored 1 goal and 1 assist. Sam Steigerwald had 2 helpers, while Ben Olshenske, Luke Olshenske and Nate Bossola all added 1 assist each.
Willow Starkey was in net facing 35 shots.
